Fine &Performing Arts Magnet
Parents, Central junior high and High School needs your help. We need test monitors for the Spring Test that will begin April 10, 2012 and run through May 4, 2012. If you could offer 2 and ½ hours to assist in test monitoring during the school day, morning or afternoon, we would greatly appreciate it. Central Junior High & High School Fine and Performing Arts Magnet offers thirty-two Fine Arts courses, including four Pre AP and AP Studio Art Classes, and twelve additional Pre AP and AP Core Curriculum courses. Our mission is to make the arts a tool for strengthening the character of each of our students. The school employs Artists-In-Residence from the community to enhance and enrich the educational experiences of our students. Many of our students attend Central on a Fine Arts transfer. Our school promotes competition in academics, the arts, and athletics because we believe in our students and ourselves. GO BRAVES!!!!!!
