Central High School's fine and performing arts magnet program offers thirty-two fine arts courses, including four pre-AP and AP studio art classes, and twelve additional pre-AP and AP core curriculum courses. Our mission is to make the arts a tool for strengthening the character of each of our students. Our students learn from artists-in-residence from the community who provide real-world perspectives, experiences, and expertise in our classrooms. We encourage our students to participate in competitions for academics, the arts, and athletics because we believe that they have the skills, talent, and knowledge to be successful. GO BRAVES!!!
Our Arts Production and Management strand is a collegiate degree program that evolved in recent years from a need to cultivate community support for arts organizations. Central High School is the only high school within the U.S. offering the Arts Production and Management strand, providing a unique opportunity to Tulsa-area students. Students who complete this program will be well prepared to transition into any college or university offering degrees in fine arts, business, or arts management.
