Oklahoma's Promise logo with tagline "Oklahoma Higher Learning Access Program"

Enrolling in the Oklahoma’s Promise program can help ensure a path to higher education is accessible for all students – including yours.

By committing to stay on track academically and meeting simple eligibility requirements, students can earn a scholarship that covers tuition at any Oklahoma public college or university; a portion of tuition at a public career technology center; or a portion of tuition at accredited private Oklahoma colleges or universities. Participating in this program reduces the financial burden on you while encouraging your student to focus on their education and career goals.

Tulsa Public Schools wants to ensure every option is available to students as they plan for their future. In order to be certain that Oklahoma’s Promise scholarship dollars are available to as many students as possible, completion of the application, or a non-participation form, is a requirement for 8th grade students moving into high school. In order for your student to receive their class schedule for 9th grade this August, you must have completed the Oklahoma’s Promise application or a non-participation form. You can find more information about Oklahoma’s Promise and begin your application at www.okpromise.org

Our middle school counselors are working closely with 8th graders and their families to verify completion of the Oklahoma’s Promise requirement and provide assistance. You can reach out to your student’s counselor for help completing the application or non-participation form. TPS team members are also available to provide one-on-one support completing the application. To make an appointment for assistance and to find a calendar of other events in the community where you can access support, please visit www.tulsaschools.org/OKpromise.
