Central High School for Fine and Performing Arts commits to embracing the power of creative expression, as well as therapeutic outlets for young people through poetry, music, dance, fashion and art. We have learning experiences that meet the needs and interests of young scholars from all walks of life. Teachers pride themselves on leveraging authentic relationships with students and families to challenge students to meet academic goals and increase secondary opportunities. Our talented students develop into strong leaders who know how to advocate for themselves, pursue their passions and interests, and work tirelessly towards social success.

Central High School's mission is to make the arts a tool for strengthening the character of each of our students. Our students learn from artists-in-residence from the community who provide real-world perspectives, experiences, and expertise in our classrooms.
